Under this heading you will be able to search for information in
accordance with the following sub-searches:
1. Companies and CC details
1.1 General information
1.2 Directors or Members details
2. Deeds
3. Master Office
Most of the stated searches can be done on an urgent or ordinary
basis and as such you will be requested to confirm the time
period in which you require such searches to be done.
1. Companies and CC searches are done electronically and at the
offices of the Registrar of Companies and Registrar of Close
Corporations. You are able to specify your search requirements
for both companies and close corporations by selecting the
sub-search option of either:
1.1 General information:
This search option will allow
you to determine the general information of a company or close
corporation like the following:
Registered address
Auditor’s or accounting officer’s details
Directors’ or members’ search
Name conflicts for name reservations

Director or Member details:
This option will allow you to
enter a specific director or member’s details and determine in
which companies they are reflected as being directors and/or
members and whether they are in fact directors and/or members
of any companies or close corporations.
2. Deeds searches are done
electronically for the 7 (SEVEN) deeds Registries (Bloemfontein,
Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kimberley, King Williams Town,
Pietermaritzburg and Pretoria) and we are able to obtain copies
for information purposes of most documents held at any of the
Deeds Registries. Further, if the need arises we are also able
to attend on the offices of the Pretoria and Johannesburg Deeds
Registries to obtain judicial copies of documents and other
specific requests regarding documents.
The information which can be searched is divided into the
following sub-searches:
2.1 Natural or juristic persons
(companies, close corporations, trusts, etc.):
2.1.1 ANC – determine whether
a natural person has an Antenuptial contract registered in
their name.
2.1.2 Interdicts – determine whether a natural or juristic
person has any judgements granted against them in respect of
immovable rights they may have.
2.1.3 Properties – determine whether a natural or juristic
person has immovable property or rights and if so, what such
immovable property or right is.
2.1.4 Bonds – determine whether a natural or juristic person
has bonded their immovable property or rights or notarially
bonded their movable assets.
2.2 Properties:
2.2.1 Owner – who the
registered owner of a specific property is.
2.2.2 Title – under which Title Deed a specific property is
held.
2.2.3 Bonds – which bonds, if any, are registered over a
specific property.
2.2.4 Interdicts – which interdicts, if any, are registered
over a specific property.
2.2.5 Previous owners – who the previous owners of a
specific property where.
2.2.6 Servitudes – which servitudes, if any, are registered
over a specific property.
2.3 Additional information
required: Should you require any other information in respect
of a specific property, such information can be requested in
the space provided.
3. Presently we are only able to
do Master’s Office Searches at the Master of the High Court,
Transvaal Provincial Division, at Pretoria. Under this
sub-search you will be able to provide us with your specific
requirements regarding a specific trust, insolvent or deceased
estate, etc. in the space which is provided.
Apply for:
The services provided here are presently limited to applying for
a name reservation of either a company or close corporation. You
are required to complete the provided application form to place
us in a position to the necessary on your behalf.
Calculate:
Under this heading you will be able to quickly calculate and
determine the possible costs you may have to incur, over and
above the purchase price, purchasing an immovable property.
These costs are divided into the transfer costs, which costs are
to be paid in order to have the property transferred into your
name as purchaser, and bond costs, which are the costs which
will have to be paid by you should you wish to register a new
mortgage bond over immovable property.
